DAY 6: MINIGOLF- A NEW EXPERIENCE!

This morning everyone agreed to play minigolf after breakfast. This was something completely new to the Russian contingent, and should really have been videod! It took a while for them to get to grips with exactly what was required- see the photos- but by the time we had reached the third or fourth hole, everyone was smiling and laughing, realising how ridiculous the whole game was.

At the end of the game, we all went over to the park and the adventure playground. After a while it was time to head back to the house for lunch.

In the afternoon, we went down to the beach, and as it was hot, decided to test the water of the Finnish bay. All I can say is, no wonder the poor folk from the Titanic perished in minutes, as it seemed freezing in the sea here! I swam for a while, but was glad to come home and jump in the sauna which we had switched on before we left. That thawed me out- no wonder as the thermometer was reading 95C!

That evening, I went across to reception to buy tickets for tomorrow's trip to the Maretarium, the huge aquariums showing the sea life and fish here. We are also going on a boat trip to the island of Varissaari, one of the archipelago islands. The tickets cost a total of 118 Euros.
