What started off as an idea to drive from Dunbar, near Edinburgh in the UK, to St Petersburg in Russia, to stay with my wife Anna's parents, metamorphosed into a driving holiday to south-east Finland,(Kotka, to be exact) where Anna's family met up with us all. There were a few unexpected hurdles along the way, but all-in-all, it was a brilliant holiday, as you can read about.
If anyone is wondering, we moved house just after returning from our Finnish adventure, and I am currently awaiting reconnection of our internet account, before uploading days 5-14 of our holiday, along with all of the photos. This should happen any day now, hopefully!
